Many people believe that bigger means better and
many home building companies have bought into this
way of thinking. In most cases the customer must
choose from a predetermined plan list and pay a
base price that does not include much in the way of
standard features. Add in the changes and upgrades
and watch the price soar.

We believe in a different philosophy at Brookfield
Custom Homes. We value each and every one of our
customers and are truly interested in knowing who
they are and what their everyday activities consist of.
We know that by being personally involved in each
building project, there is little room for error or
unsatisfied customers. Keeping a smaller company
allows us the opportunity to become personally
involved in each project and create a home that will fit
our client’s lifestyle.

Keith Cohrs, owner of Brookfield Custom Homes, is
a native Houstonian and has a passion for building.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Building
Construction from Texas A & M University. He has
27 years of experience and education in the
residential construction business. He began
Brookfield Custom Homes in March, 1999.

Keith has surrounded himself with an outstanding
team of professionals. He truly believes that “building
a home is a team effort between the builder,
customer, architect, interior designer, suppliers and
trades.” He knows that without his dedicated team,
building the quality home that his customers expect is
impossible.

Since we are a small company, Keith is able to have
a hands-on approach. He explains, “I handle all
construction issues and supervision myself. I like to
know firsthand what is happening on our jobs.” This
approach produces homes that consistently match
the buyers’ expectations.
